1.            Cross Application Components:

·        It is to handle Advance ABAP like BAPI’s and RFC

2.            Logistics :

Exclusively for functional people can work (i.e SD, MM, PP)

        

§         Sales & Distribution (SD)

§         Material Management (MM)

§         Production Planning (PP)

These people work under Logistics.

3  Accounting :

It is for Finance and Controlling (FICO) functional people for finance people  will involve

4 Human Resource :(HR)

for HR functional people

Technical ABAP and HR ABAP are different

ABAP is not compatible for HR, for this HR for this HR ABAP is used.

5.  Information systems :

·        Information Systems have predefined ABAP Reports. (Real Time Accessing) 

·        SAP have 2000 predefined ABAP reports.

6.)Tools :

·        This is for ABAP programmers and Administrators(BASIS)

·        As an ABAP Programmers we need to handle 4 components: (i) Office (ii)Cross-Applications (iii)Information-Systems (iv) Tools.

Note :- ABAP & Basis will involve in this TOOLS option
